Locum Pay Rates
Fresh Recruitment is committed to the negotiation of fair and competitive pay rates for
locums. Locums are normally paid weekly and their earnings per week vary according to the career grade of the position filled.
Typical weekly earnings for a
locum SHO is £1920 and £2448 for SPR level based on a 48 hour work week. The rates may vary according to the area where you work and are generally for the Greater London area and Home Counties.
We have opted out of the restrictive National Contract for Medical Locums and as such are able to provide locums with better pay rates.

The above are typical rates of pay in pounds sterling per hour. Each placement will be negotiated on your behalf to ensure that you get the best rate of pay possible. Although we cannot guarantee a fixed rate upfront, you will agree when looking at the positions advertised on our site, that our commitment to negotiating the best rates for locums does reflect in the salary earning potential.

If you are the first person to recommend a doctor to us who is not already on our database, then you will receive an incentive bonus of £1 per hour for each hour they work for Fresh. You will also receive one entry per doctor you recommend into our quarterly draw for the prize of either an iPod touch or a day at a spa for 2.
