Shifts:

GP locum required for Private GP clinic in Manchester. The clinic specialises in gender re-assignment. The clinic also has an ongoing requirement for a GP for one session per month thereafter.

The clinic particularly specialise in Male to Female transsexuals based in North Manchester. The Doctors role is to perform medical examinations and where appropriate prescibe for these patients. Other duties include referral to consultants and providing reports for The Gender Re-Assiignment Panel. We are looking for the commitment of a Doctor for one , three hour session per month. During this session there would be 1 to 2 new patients and 2 to 3 follow up patients.

Initial requirement:-

Wed 15th Feb 1200-1600hrs

This vacancy is open to GP's who do not have experience in this specialist area.

An informal chat can be arranged with the existing GP currently covering the role.

Please note that a referral fee is offered to doctors who are unable to undertake this locum but know of someone who maybe and are referred to us.

Pay Rate for this locum is up to £75 per hour depending on experience.

Applicants must have:

* GP Performers List with local PCT or LHB

* GMC GP registration

* Permission to work in the UK

* Relevant experience (Experience of working as a GP in the NHS is essential)
